A dove built its nest on the windshield of a friend's vehicle. When the parent was away, he moved the nest into a bowl, so he could it could be moved when he wanted to use his vehicle. I was amazed at how calm the dove was when he moved the nest with her in it. Unfortunately, the eggs did not hatch before I left the park a few days later.It was the time of the year that grackles were busy gathering material for nests. The brownish bird is the female and the bluish-black is the male.
