St. Mary's 5

St. Mary's 5

Today, I am sharing photos of lobster and crab pots that were on the community wharf.  As you know, fishing is still a big industry in Newfoundland and the lobster and crab industries operate all around the province.  I did an album of Lobster Pot photos a while back and you can check it out on Facebook.

Feel free to share with family and friends.

St. Mary's 4

St. Mary's 4

Today, I am continuing with photos taken around the town of St. Mary's in the summer of 2002.
There was no fog in this area the day I took these photos.  I like to phone ahead when I am heading to the southern Avalon because it is often foggy there when it is beautiful here in Holyrood. If you plan a trip around the Irish Loop, check the weather first!

St. Mary's 3

St. Mary's 3

Yesterday I shared photos of boats in St. Mary's, and today, I am showing the same boats - 5 days later.  I remember that it was overcast during the first trip and I wanted to shoot it again on a sunny day so I went back on the first nice day. I certainly see the difference in the photos of the boats, but don't have a favourite.

Feel free to share with family and friends.
