There have been purple finches around my yard for quite a while so far this spring. The males are reddish-purple and certainly stand out in the trees around here. Their songs are beautiful as well.

In June 2011, we took our first cruise on Royal Caribbean's Brilliance of the Seas - a 13-night cruise around the Mediterranean with a 2-day stop in Venice. We were amazed at the ship and we enjoyed every stop on the itinerary. We booked excursions at every stop and were busy every day!
I am planning to share photos of the other ships we sailed in the order we sailed on them. :)

I attended the official opening of Trinity Hall, formerly St. Luke's Anglican Church in Winterton, on Friday, May 19, 2023. I photographed the inside of the church while a few performers were entertaining the audience. U have to admit that it was a different experience being in that church for something other than funerals. When the church was deconsecrated, it was offered for sale and Greg Wells, a Grammy Award-winning music producer purchased it and has converted it into a recording studio/music venue where it will help the community! There have been several recent articles about his future plans for the church and the town of Winterton!

My apologies for not posting photos every day over the past month and a half! We have been getting our whole house painted inside and, as you can imagine, things were in an upheaval for a while.
This morning I am sharing photos of flowers that I took in Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, BC that I am adding to my second album of flower photos that I took during a visit in early July 2018. Of course, Victoria's weather is way ahead of ours and I took advantage of the opportunity to photograph so many beautiful flowers!
