Salmon Cove Beach 7

Salmon Cove Beach 7

Today I am sharing the last of the People at Salmon Cove Beach series.  These are the ones I missed as I chose images each day over the past week and they date back to 2001.

Interestingly, there are only a few people I know in any of the photos I shared over the past seven days.  I enjoyed making photos of the various activities in which people participate when they spend some time at the beach on beautiful summer days.

Please feel free to share the photos and, if you know anyone in the images, please let me know.

Salmon Cove Beach 6

Salmon Cove Beach 6

Today's photos were taken on July 29, 2001.

Kids sure have fun at the beach and a few even get in the COLD water.  Of course, where there are kids, there are parents watching them.  Younger adults and those without kids, tend to lie in the sun or walk along the beach together.  Of course, there are always a few photographers who enjoy making photos of people and the scenery.

Salmon Cove Beach 5

Salmon Cove Beach 5

Today's photos were taken on August 11, 2004.  As I walked along the beach looking for photos, I saw two young people climbing the steep face of a small island just off shore.  My first thought was that the couple was crazy.  When they attempted to do acrobatic tricks, I was convinced they were going too far.  One slip and one, or both, of them, could be hurt.

I continued taking pictures until I was approached by another couple who asked if I could send them the pictures I had just taken.  They informed me that the couple were acrobats from a circus and thought photos of them performing on the island would be great. Since I had a long lens, they figured my photos would be better.
