Venice 2

This morning I shared photos of buildings, peppers, and items on display along the narrow streets of Venice. Since it was fairly early when I made some of these images, the cafés are all but empty. In the first photo you can see people in the background pulling their suitcases towards the Rialto Bridge. Since there are no cars, other than hiring a private water taxi, that is the only way to transport them through the city. Actually, there are porters in some areas, but the only one I saw was the one we hired on the first night we arrived.
