Villefranche, France 5

       Villefranche, France 5

The lifestyle of residents of the old town of Villefranche is much different than here in Newfoundland and Labrador.  There are no yards or gardens, the roads are very narrow, most windows have shutters that probably keep the sun out of their apartments, no cars or trucks, and people walk if they have to go out for anything. Their weather is beautiful, though it probably gets cool in the winter.

Even though I had an idea of what Villefranche was like, it was still exciting to walk the old streets making photographs.  It was great not to be in a rush during this visit.
