Chives

Chives

Today I went back to photos of chives that I grew in my yard from 2001-2003. As you can see the plants produced beautiful light purple flowers which bloomed in early July here in Holyrood.

I remember purchasing the plants from a parent at Mary Queen of Peace School where I was teaching at the time. Though they were perennials, they died off after the third year and I never planted them again. Maybe I'll plant them again in one of my flower gardens next year.

Feel free to share with family and friends.
