Great Horned Owl







Great Horned Owl

During my most recent trip to the Salmonier Nature Park I saw a great horned owl hidden in the shade under the branches of a tree but didn't get a very good photo of it. Even though I was shooting through a cage, I was lucky to make a few decent images of a great horned owl during a walk through the Salmonier Nature Park in early September, 2006.

It was interesting to look into the intense eyes of a great horned owl from such a close distance.
