Loggerhead Shrike

Loggerhead Shrike

In 2007, during a trip to Florida, I was lucky enough to find a nest with 4 baby loggerhead shrikes that were just about ready to leave. One of the adult birds was perched in a nearby tree keeping an eye on them. I photographed them a couple of times before they left the nest.

I`ve updated the Loggerhead Shrike Gallery this morning. If you would like to view the 26 images on the updated page, feel free to visit: http://www.lanephotography.com/birds/loggerhead_shrike/loggerhead_shrike_01.htm
