Yesterday I took time to photograph a squirrel that has been eating sunflower seeds that I feed to the birds. While most people don't really like squirrels much, I enjoy watching them play and run around my back yard. They are interesting to watch and photograph.
The squirrels around here aren't really afraid of us, but they do run away if someone tries to get too close. I sat and waited for 30 minutes and the squirrel kept a close eye on me the whole time. By the time I moved slowly towards it, the little animal wasn't too nervous and I was able to get a few close-up images.
