Bowring Park is located in the west end of St. John's and is an excellent place to be active any time of the year.  I always enjoy a walk through Bowring Park, especially in fall when the leaves of many varieties of trees are in full colour.


I was there bright and early one Saturday morning and photographed kids  participating in cross-country races.  I took a few photos of them racing, then sat at the finish-line to capture some of the runners as they finished their race.  This was an organized event and there were parents and teachers from several schools.
