Fog 5

Fog 5

This is the last of my Fog Series for now and I'd like to thank the people who took the time to comment on the photos,

The first photo this morning shows fog over cliffs on the Burin Peninsula.  The next three were taken in Holyrood Harbour and shows a small iceberg with a bank of fog in the background.  The grey buildings in the background are no longer there and have been replaced by a school that does training for offshore safety.  Next is a view of Signal Hill with the houses of the battery clinging to the bottom of the steep cliffs.   The next three were also taken in Holyrood and show fishing boats that were looking for capelin.

The lighthouse at Cape Pine on the southern Avalon was barely visible in the thick fog. You can view more images of Cape Pine taken on that foggy Day at:   http://www.lanephotography.com/lighthouses/cape_pine/cape_pine_lighthouse_01.htm

The last photo shows sedimentary rock formations in Point la Haye and you can view more photos of this area including a few taken on a bright, sunny day  at:  http://www.lanephotography.com/irish_loop/point_la_haye/point_la_haye.htm

Feel free to share today's photos with family and friends.
