Boats

Boats

I am presently adding photos to my Small Boats on Land 6 Facebook Album and you can follow it here - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10163088377360329&type=3

I have so many photos of boats after more than 50 years of taking photos around Newfoundland and Labrador that I decided upon categories to put them together, and one of those categories was Small Boats on Land and I soon realized I had a lot to share. I have provided links to my most recent albums:

Atlanticat

Atlanticat

I have only seen the Atlanticat here in Holyrood on one occasion back in 2010. It sure is an interesting-looking boat. I am not sure if it is a fishing boat or not.  Maybe someone can help me with that.!

I am adding these photos to my Holyrood Boats 2 Album that you can find here - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.128526812934051&type=3

I have also started a Boats- Names album in which I am sharing photos of boats with interesting names. If interested, you can follow it here - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/edit/a.10162326716815329

Small Boats

Small Boats

I have so many photos of boats that I have created a variety of albums featuring those photos.  Today I am sharing photos of boats tied up in harbours around the island.  I have added new photos to my existing album today.  You can view the images here - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/edit/a.10160773985085329

The first 4 photos are from  Bay de Verde in 1997.  The harbour there has changed quite a bit since then.

Change Islands Boats

Change Islands Boats

In 2009, I made my only trip to Change Islands in Notre Dame Bay and photographed the community.  I subdivided the photos I took into categories and one of the ones I chose was Boats.  As you can imagine, living on an island means that a boat is probably a necessity for most people.  You can view the boat photos I took that day here - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=KBruceLanePhotography&set=a.1622680921206014

Cape Broyle - Boats

Cape Broyle - Boats

As I drive around the province, I often take photos of boats both onshore and in the water.  In 2002, I visited Cape Broyle and photographed the community Including the photos of boats that I am sharing today.  I included the kayaks because there were quite a few in the water around Cape Broyle that day!

St. Mary's Boats

St. Mary's Boats

In 2002, I travelled around the entire Irish Loop twice and took photos of every town.  Today, I chose photos of boats on a sunny summer day.  Interestingly, there weren't any people around the beach area where the boats were stored.
