Naples 5

Naples 5

Castel Nuovo was begun in 1279 and has a long and rich history.  You can find more about its history at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castel_Nuovo

The castle is near the port and, because of construction, all cruise passengers had to walk past the castle.  Of course, I made several photos from a variety of perspectives.  I walked under the arch and made a few photos of the inside including the one of a group of young dancers.  Because we were headed into the city, we didn't visit the inside of the castle.

This is the last of the Naples Series and tomorrow I will begin a series of images made while crossing the Atlantic.

Feel free to share today's photos with family and friends.
