St. Kitts 2

After passing through the archway of the museum it was like being transported directly into the "real", as a local lady phrased it, city of Basseterre. We followed what seemed like it could be a main street and wandered along the narrow sidewalks past colourful buildings. Businesses along the street were just starting to open, so there wasn't a lot of activity going on which made it pretty good for making photographs.

There were a few chain stores, restaurants and banks (Canadian banks - Scotiabank and RBC), but on the street we followed there weren't a lot of businesses I recognized.
