Salmon Fishing 2
Again today I am sharing more photos of people who are salmon (and trout) fishing in three different locations in Central Newfoundland. The first was taken on a well-known salmon river. The guy in the white shirt was a waiter who took advantage of a short break to try his luck at salmon fishing. The boat was on the Gander River near a fishing lodge. The third shows a gentleman standing on a huge boulder as he tried to catch a few trout for supper. I liked the photo with the fisherman and helicopter circling overhead. That particular helicopter had George Bush Sr., a member of the Secret Service and a member of the RCMP aboard and were travelling to another spot on the river to see if they could catch a salmon or two. I found it interesting that a former President of the United States would have six security officers travelling with him to remote areas of our province that were only accessible by helicopter.
