The male peacock (the female is referred to as the peafowl) is beautiful, especially when it spreads it colourful tail feathers. I happened to walk by when this one showed its tail feathers and I zoomed in to exclude the paths and people in the background that are visible in the first image. When I saw the birds' blue head surrounded by the greens and blues in its tail feathers, I thought it would make a beautiful image so I shot several. Another male bird walked by very closely and I zoomed in close to its head to show the little feathers growing there.
