Winter

Today's photos of Winter were taken January 31, 2004 during an early morning drive to Clarenville. As the sun rose, the lighting on the snow and trees was very nice so I stopped along the side of the highway and took a few photos.

The light in the early morning and late evening is usually great for making photos. Even though it was mid-winter, a very cold morning and a lot of snow, I get a "warm" feeling when I view the images. A few years ago, a person on this list stated that some of my winter images made her feel warm instead of cold. This is probably due to the lighting in the early morning.
