Thanks for the interesting comments regarding the Delicate Designs series. Today's photos could fit into a Design theme as well but these are man-made, not natural, things.
Most people don't think about the fact that everything that is made by humans has been designed. When you look around you, take notice of everyday objects and make a mental note of the design of each. Don't discriminate between objects - everything's a subject for this exercise! Feel free to make photographs and share them with students by sending photos to mqpphotos@gmail.com
The first photo is a close-up view of a pair of jeans and the second two are macro imaged of the threads in two different sweaters. These photos would make excellent backgrounds for web pages about clothing or producers of clothing.
