Today I am sharing a few more photos from 1996.  Unfortunately. I don't remember where most of the photos were taken.  I have guessed at several of them but would like viewers to look closely in case you can identify the communities.  I may have identified the bays in which the communities are located, however, I am not even sure of that.

There was a time that I could remember where every photo I had taken, however, as I get older, I am not as good at it.  :)

I have visited and photographed The Battery, located along the cliffs of St. John's Harbour, several times.  Today I am sharing images taken on a partly cloudy day in 1993.  People familiar with the area are sure to see changes after 24 years.

Woody Point/Rocky Harbour 1996

In 1996 I visited the west coast to make photos and today I am sharing images of Bonne Bay, Woody Point and Rocky Harbour.  As you can see, most photos were taken from a boat during a ride out Bonne Bay, past Woody Point and on to Rocky Harbour.

People from these areas are sure to see how much has changed over 21 years.

White Admiral

White Admiral

I am not sure if it is true everywhere, but on my property there seem to be more butterflies this year.  I've managed to photograph a few of them, but many of the smaller ones have eluded me thus far.

This white admiral butterfly was in pretty bad shape (check its wings in the photos) when I photographed it on meadowsweet flowers in my yard.  It must have liked these blooms because it stayed around quite a while.
