St. John's 5
As I walked two of the streets in downtown St. John's, I also photographed things other than people including items for sale, café tables along the sidewalks, objects through windows and artwork on sides of buildings or in store windows. I have enough of these images to share for a couple of days.
For those of you NOT from Newfoundland, the signs in the windows are common sayings in this province. You can look up their meanings on line. The T-shirt shows a lobster and a pot with a quote "Say No To Pot" - a little different than the current "pot" debate in Canada and the US. :) Several businesses have paintings and artwork in store windows and/or outside their buildings.
I walked by the war memorial and made a photo of one of the statues as well as the entire memorial.
