Reefs Harbour
We left the L'Anse aux Meadows area because of the heavy rain and took the road south to the Town of Roddicton. It continued to rain the entire time so I do not have any photos of that area. After lunch we continued to Plum Point then south on the Viking Trail. We saw our first bit of blue sky near the town of Reefs Harbour so we took the side road to that small community.
The first photo was taken near the very long dilapidated wharf, the longest I had ever seen, shown in the third image. It was obviously low tide since there was hardly any water and the orange seaweed was very dominant in the scene.
The third photo shows several sheds lining the main road in the town, most of which were not painted, unlike many red, green and even a few purple ones that we had seen so far on the trip.
