Today's photos were also taken inside the jailhouse.  Some of the rooms in this house were for the owners and their children, and the rest had bars on the windows and doors as well as thick steel between the walls.  You can see that the cells were "bare bones" - a bed and chamber pot. 

What were people put in jail for?  Check out a sign that I photographed there.
