Sandhill Crane
This is the first year that I photographed sandhill cranes. Not long
after I first saw a pair, one of them disappeared for the rest of the time I was
in Citrus Park. Not long after I left for home, the pair of cranes showed up
with two young ones. I was hoping to photograph the young birds, but it was not
meant to be.
Today's photos show one of the large
birds preening its feathers.
