Crested Caracara
I'd heard of crested caracara being sighted around Citrus Park in
Bonita Springs in Florida but they eluded me for several years. This year,
however, they seemed to pose for me and I got the most photos yet of these big
birds. Caracara are often
referred to as eagles, however, they are members of the falcon
family.
