Burin Peninsula 3
Today's photos were taken in the town of Garnish on the Burin Peninsula and reflect common themes that I shoot everywhere I go.
The lighthouse, obviously not is use now, was at the end of one of the roads in the town. It was sort of ironic that someone decided to place a sign advertising a Federal Government Action Plan for Harbour Improvements on the dilapidated structure.
The boats were tied up to a wharf in Garnish. We didn't see many boats out on the water that day - most likely because of the weather.
Even though there was thick fog, someone hung their clothes outside hoping that the wind would dry them out. You can see that there was a bit of a breeze which could dry the clothes pretty quickly despite the fog.
