Burin Peninsula 4

You don't see too many rivers with concrete banks as you drive around the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, but we stopped to photograph this one in the town of Garnish. A woman was supervising a couple of kids fishing from the bank of the river. After travelling through several European cities a few weeks before, it was interesting to see this sight with so few people around.

The old house caught our attention and we stopped to make a few images. I've been photographing abandoned houses for many years and continue to add to my collection.
