Seals

We are well into the winter season here in Newfoundland and Labrador, but we have no snow or ice, at least here on the Avalon Peninsula. In December we had a record snow fall, but it has rained several times since then which has taken away all the snow.

In years gone by I have photographed seals as they rested on the ice in Holyrood Harbour but so far this year, there haven't been any signs of ice forming in the harbour. We probably will get ice, and seals, as the winter progresses and when we do, I will make a few new photos of seals to share with you.
