Bakeapple/Cloudberry





Yesterday I visited my "secret" bakeapple patch and picked around 3 litres of the delicious fruit. I am planning to go back again today and pick even more. Since most berries are ripe, they have to be picked fairly quickly, otherwise they will be eaten by birds or will drop off the plant.

The first photo shows a ripe berry and the plant on a bog. The others were taken with my macro lens and show good close-up views of the berries.
