Seascapes 6
 
Yesterday, someone from outside Newfoundland and Labrador asked if we had beaches.  Of course there are many beaches around the island.  Some are sandy and others are rocky, Some are easily accessible, and others are far from roads.  But, we do have many and I have photos of quite a few.
 

Many people enjoy walking along Bellvue Beach as you can see in the first seven photos. 
The white beaches of Sandy Cove, Bonavista Bay are beautiful, especially in summer when there are many people there. The last two photos were taken on the southern Avalon and even though there is a road nearby, I didn't see anyone on this beach.
