Boats and Stages 3

 

The first photo this morning was taken in  Holyrood, Conception Bay on a beautiful day in July, 2006.  The next was taken in  Winterton, Trinity Bay.  I liked the name of the boat – Itchy – and the boats in the background.

 

I photographed the boat and shed in Neddies Harbour, Bonne Bay.  I liked the dory in Woody Point, Bonne Bay and photographed it with nothing but the sparkling water in the background.

 

The next 6 photos were taken in Summerville, Bonavista Bayin the Spring of 2004.  Look closely at the sky in the second last photo and you will see ghosts of fishermen at work. I added the sculpture, photographed in Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, to the sky to make a connection to boats and fishermen.
