You can certainly say that today's colour is RED.  As you can see, the bright red maple trees and burning bushes dominate the scene in this colourful yard near Holyrood.


Hurricane Gonzola is headed toward the island of Newfoundland and is predicted to bring high winds and heavy rain to the Avalon area.  Its track seems to be shifting east a bit, and there is a possibility it could miss us.  Either way, I suspect that most leaves could be gone after the weekend.
