Trees
Today's photographs were taken on a high cliff on the Cape Shore looking out over the Atlantic Ocean and St. Mary's Bay. You can tell from the images that these trees have had a hard life. Strong, cold winds blowing off the ocean have stunted their growth and, after several years, eventually killed them. These trees look like abstract sculptures staggered across the cliffs. Despite the hard shape of the tree in the last photo, at least one branch seems to have a little life left in it.
