Tangled Garden 5

Tangled Garden 5

I didn't realize that my photos of Tangled Garden would turn into another Flower Series, but when I think back on my visits there, they offered jams, jellies, and other products from plants in their gift shop.  It would make sense that they would have lots of plants growing on their property.

I purchased a couple of items there and have to admit that they were very tasty.  If you look back on the back-lit photos on Day 1 of this series, you will notice sprigs of herbs in some bottles.  The jam I purchased had a sprig of thyme in it.

Since my visits there, I have been making my own jams and jellies.  I have wild raspberries and blueberries as well as rhubarb, gooseberries, red currants and black currants growing on my property.  I also have several herbs and spices including thyme, lemon thyme, mint, and two types of oregano, but haven't considered using them in my jams or jellies.

Feel free to share with family and friends.
