Icebergs, Spaniard's Bay 2

This year is shaping up to be a banner year for icebergs around Newfoundland and Labrador.  There are nearly 500 icebergs around the province this early into the season.  Today's photos were taken several years ago and I decided to share them to give you an idea of the shape, size and textures that are possible to see.


As you can see, I was able to get some close views of the icebergs that were grounded in Spaniard's Bay during the summer of 2003.
