For the next few days I will share
photos of Fortune Harbour, Notre Dame Bay. I've been to this community several
times over the years and have many photos. The images in this series were taken
in August, 2006.
The first three photos show a small harbour
with a mussel farm. I've seen these in several
places around the province and think it is a growing industry in this part of the world.
This part of Notre Dame Bay must be good
for lobsters as well - there were lots of lobster pots on the fishing stages in
Fortune Harbour.
