Yellow Pond Lilies are common in ponds around Newfoundland and Labrador. The three photos I am sharing this morning were taken in a pond not too far from my house in Holyrood.
I have photographed this plant often in all types of weather and in various times throughout the year. One of my favourites showed the leaves frozen into thin ice that covered a pond one early fall morning.
