Today I am sharing close-up photos of a white heron (also known as a great egret) that I photographed in Florida last year.
I liked the way light seemed to be passing through this bird's beak. The shape of the beak helps it be a successful hunter.
Both images this morning were cropped from larger photos, but I wanted to share the colourful beaks so I eliminated most of the backgrounds.
Votes still coming in on the two photos I sent yesterday so I will give results tomorrow. Some interesting comments to share as well.
