Thanks for all the votes on the "Guess What?" series. I'll let you know what they were tomorrow. Guesses are still coming in.
There are several mountain ash, or "dogberry trees" as we like to call them, around my property. I photograph them every year in all seasons and never tire of them.
The brightly coloured dogberries make excellent photographic subjects, but also provide food for birds. You will see that birds have been feeding on the berries in the third photo.
These berries are a definite sign of Fall in this area of the world.
