Tilt Cove

In 1993, while working on a video series on Mining in Newfoundland and Labrador, I visited Tilt Cove to videotape the community after the mining company shut the mine.  I was surprised and amazed that they weren't required to clean up the community before they left.  Today's photos show the mess!!

I think there may be one family living there these days, but I am not certain.
