Red-bellied Woodpecker

Red-bellied Woodpecker

I have photographed red-bellied woodpeckers in Florida several times, but I got closest at the Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary.  The colourful bird flew into a small viewing area, had a drink, got a few seeds, then flew to a nearby tree.  It was no further than 8 feet away and there were probably 10 photographers clicking pictures.  I assumed the woodpecker was used o people.
