Honey Bees
I had never seen or photographed honey bees until I visited a sunflower garden at Mike's U-Pick in Bonita Springs, Florida. I was excited to see them and soon realized I could get fairly close without making them mad, so I got LOTS of close-up photos of them. Once I discovered where to photograph them, I made numerous trips.
Last year, I photographed a couple of honey bees in Holyrood and later found out that there is a hive close to where I saw them.
