Walk

Walk

When I hike through the woods with a camera, I am constantly looking for something interesting to photograph.  I have hiked the trails behind my house hundreds, if not thousands of times since moving here in 1982 and hardly ever see animals other than an moose or rabbit.  As a result, plants and rocks catch my interest.

Today's photos were taken on a long walk in May 2005.  The last photo shows a small tree growing in the stump of another.  I actually photographed this each year until another tree fell and broke the little one off.
