Thornlea
Thornlea is located on the isthmus of the Avalon Peninsula in Trinity Bay. You will find it if you drive off the main highway and drive through communities such as Long Cove, Norman's Cove, Chapel Arm, Bellvue, and Chance Cove, all of which are scenic communities along the Osprey Trail.
Thornlea gets its share of fog, but it was a beautiful sunny day when I made today's images in 2003. The blue sky, still water, boats and houses made excellent photographic subjects as I drove through the town, stopping in a few locations to make images.
