It didn't clear completely yesterday, but I went back to Tors Cove to photograph the icebergs again. While I did photograph closer views of the icebergs, I am sharing wider views to let you see the area and the location of the 14 icebergs that are visible from this location.
The first image shows a different view of the same house that was in the Photo of the Day yesterday. I imagine they have quite a view when it isn't foggy.
The second image shows two icebergs in the opposite direction floating between two of the islands in the Witless Bay Bird Sanctuary.
The final image shows a guy looking towards the icebergs. Even though the icebergs and island in the background are out of focus, I liked the photo.
This is early for icebergs and I know there are a few around Conception Bay as well. If it is a nice afternoon, I'll probably photograph one in Torbay, just a few minutes drive from school.
