Last summer we had such a heavy rainfall on the Avalon Peninsula that several communities were damaged by flooding. This morning I am sharing three photos that I took at our local swimming park. Hopefully, it will be a while before we get heavy rains like that again.
I liked the sign which says that people swim at own risk at all times. I don't think anyone will be silly enough to swim when the water is this high!
