Near the entrance to Point Pleasant Park in Halifax, you will see a rock that has been taken over by cormorants. First when I saw them drying their large, black wings, I thought that they were anhinga, but the hooked bill helped me identify them. I have also photographed cormorants in Newfoundland and Labrador, Massachusetts and Florida.
I have other bird photos on line at:http://www.lanephotography.com/birds/birds_main_01.htm
