Yesterday's photos showed a fisherman filleting (not splitting as I stated yesterday) codfish while his kids looked on. Today I am sending photos of cod drying in the sun. The first two photos show two views of cod filets, and the third photo shows "split" cod drying on a clothesline.
In years gone by most fish in Newfoundland and Labrador were dried, but today I suspect that most is frozen. This is the first time in many years that I have had the opportunity to photograph codfish drying
