Battle Harbour








Battle Harbour

It was nearly 20 years ago that my son and I visited Battle Harbour and photographed the community and its surroundings. I have posted most of the photos before, but they were small images so I decided to revisit the photos and post larger images.

Battle Harbour is an island located off the coast of Labrador. I enjoyed photographing the old houses as well as those that had been restored then. Since that time, many more, if not all, have been restored so it is quite different there now.

Classic Cars







Classic Cars

If you follow my Facebook, you will know that I enjoy photographing old cars, and while in Cuba, I was able to photograph many cars from the 50s and 60s. I find them interesting because they are the cars I saw as I grew up and they bring back positive memories. These old cars are not what you would call "mint classic cars" because they have been rebuilt with whatever parts people could find. However many of them look pretty good and you will get an idea of the vehicles that are driving around the streets. I usually stop adding to albums after 100 photos, however, Since I only have a few more to add, I will go beyond that number.

Varadero, Cuba

When I was in Varadero last week, I walked around the town for a while and took several photos. Since I only had a few photos in my Varadero Album, I decided to add them to the photos I took in June 2022. Sol Palmeras 2 - The Beach

 The beaches along Varedero are among the best in the world and I did manage to walk on the beach at Sol Palmeras a few times during my recent visit. I have created a NEW album on my Travel Page and will share the photos I took in that album over the next few days.

Sol Palmeras










Sol Palmeras

On April 1, we went back to Sol Palmeras, a resort in Varadero, Cuba. It was our second trip this year, and I was happy to see the many friends we made during our last trip again. The people in Cuba are beautiful people.

The weather was great with temperatures in the low to mid-30's every day and, of course, it was sunny every day. There were more people at the resort this time, which is good for the hotel and staff!
