Woodstock Colonial Inn





Woodstock Colonial Inn

On September 9, 2001, I was driving through Topsail and stopped to take pictures of the Woodstock Colonial Inn. This is still open but is now called Woodstock Public House. It is an interesting and photogenic building with lots of interesting windows.

Santa Claus Parade, 2014





Santa Claus Parade, 2014

On December 7, 2014, I photographed the annual Santa Claus Parade in Holyrood and started a new album on my Holyrood Page today. Over the next week or so, I plan to share the rest of the photos I took that day.

Sunflowers









 Sunflowers

My sunflowers are about ready to bloom. I planted over 40 this spring and they are all growing, though some are further along than others. Soon, I will begin to photograph the beautiful flowers.     Laburnum





    Laburnum

    Several years ago, a friend gave me a laburnum and I planted it in my backyard. It had a hard time initially and I often found it flat on the ground. I staked it and tied it to other trees, but it still fell over. Finally, I decided to leave it alone and it did much better. It still leans in one direction, but produces flowers and grows more every year!

    Cape Bonavista







    Cape Bonavista

    I am sharing photos to my Cape Bonavista 2 Facebook Album, on my K. Bruce Lane Photography - Communities and Culture Page. I started this album with a series of photos taken on August 26, 2006. There was a fresh coat of paint on the buildings and a nice day for taking a few pictures.

      Peonies






      Peonies

      This evening, I posted the last photo of peonies for 2024 to my Peonies 3 Album. Every year, I look forward to the beautiful blooms and try to take pictures every day that the weather cooperates.  I know that many photos in the 3 albums are very similar. but I enjoy taking the pictures and sharing them every year. You would have to be a Peony Lover to want to look at all the pictures in each album. :)
